One week has been past since I came back home. I heard that it's hard to readjust yourself to Japanese culture. Readjust yourself? What do you mean by that? Why do you need to readjust? I think that's stupid because if you have yourself, if you know truly who you are, you don't need to change or anything because you are yourself no matter where you are. From this experience, I realized my identity cannot be moved by cultural changes or people around me. I always have my own way and I believe that personality stands before anything, even before nationality. I learned the importance of individuality. And I think seeing people as individuals are very important factor to make this world smaller. So basically, I haven't changed at all which surprised people around me. So I don't have any problem to interact with my family, friends and this country. Nothing is perfect and you can say that to the country too. Japan and America, they are completely different countries, and I like them both. They both have different good points and different bad points. So I will not compare them and I don't need to. You don't compare elephant to dog, do you? I said I haven't changed, but I had been polished. I didn't change Windows to Mac but I did change Windows 2000 to Windows XP. I mean, I update myself a little. I am pretty sure that my view has got much wider. It's a matter of course but I learned that world has connection. Everything has cause and result and we are happy because there are sacrifices for that somewhere in this world. We don't know exactly what that is and where that is but we cannot forget that not everyone is happy. I don't know why I learned it in this experience, since Missouri is more closed place than Tokyo. But feel like that is all I needed to know. So I can say 10 months and $9000 were more than worth it. So I want to thank all of you who made this opportunity come true. I promise that I won't waste this experience. Thank you again and this will be my last monthly report.
